天竺徳兵衛は蝦蟇の妖術使いとして、歌舞伎や浄瑠璃に登場するキャラクターです。
蝦蟇の妖術使い自来也（児雷也）の元となった人物で、忍者博物館の浮世絵コーナーでも展示されております。

Tenjiku Tokubei is a toad sorcerer and a character that appears in kabuki and joruri.
He is the inspiration for the toad sorcerer Jiraiya (Jir aiya), and is also on display in the ukiyo-e corner of the Ninja Museum.
